99 Alumina Ceramic Parts

Aliases:High Purity Alumina Ceramic Insulation Discs for Electrical & Thermal Applications
Introduction
99 Alumina ceramic components are high-strength ceramic components made from alumina with a purity of ≥99% through precision molding and high-temperature sintering. With their excellent high-temperature resistance, high hardness, insulation, and chemical stability, they are widely used in machinery, electronics, metallurgy, and medical applications. As key structural elements such as wear-resistant load-bearing components, insulating supports, and high-temperature protection, they can replace metal or plastic components and achieve long-term stable operation in harsh environments.

Design Features

High Strength and Hardness

Flexural strength ≥330MPa, hardness up to HRA 85-90, far exceeding that of ordinary metals and engineering plastics. It is wear-resistant and suitable for high-frequency load-bearing structural components such as load-bearing and transmission systems.

Excellent High-Temperature Resistance and Thermal Insulation

Can operate for long periods of time below 1600°C. Its low linear expansion coefficient (approximately 7.6×10⁻⁶/°C) prevents deformation or softening at high temperatures. Its thermal insulation properties make it suitable for structural support in high-temperature furnaces and metallurgical equipment.

Excellent Electrical Insulation and Arc Resistance

Volume Resistivity ≥10¹⁴Ω・cm, breakdown strength ≥25kV/mm. It offers stable insulation in high-voltage and high-frequency environments, eliminating the risk of arc breakdown, making it an ideal choice for insulating structures in electronic equipment.

Extremely Chemically Stable

Resistant to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents, it is non-reactive with most industrial media, making it suitable for clean or corrosive environments such as chemical equipment and medical devices. Customizable precision structures

Support complex shape processing, such as special-shaped parts, multi-hole arrays, threaded holes, and stepped structures. Dimensional accuracy reaches ±0.01mm, and surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.8μm, meeting high-precision assembly requirements.

Long-term stability

Alumina ceramics offer long-term stability, with a service life far exceeding that of traditional materials.

Application Areas

Mechanical Manufacturing

Used as wear-resistant bearings, guide rails, sliders, sealing rings, and other metal replacements to reduce friction loss and extend equipment life.

Electronic and Electrical

Provides insulation and structural support for insulating supports in high-voltage switches, chip packaging bases, and sensor housings.

Metallurgy and High-Temperature Equipment

Used as shelves, crucibles, and thermocouple protection tubes in high-temperature furnaces to withstand high-temperature oxidation and thermal shock.

New Energy Sector

Used as support plates in lithium battery sintering furnaces and high-temperature insulating brackets in photovoltaic equipment.
